Ichiro Suzuki continues to be a modern marvel, even in his mid-40s.
The Seattle Mariners outfielder turned heads over the weekend by clocking in at 7 percent body fat, the lowest figure on the entire team, per USA TODAY’s Bob Nightengale:
Ichiro Suzuki, who's 45 years old, checked in at 7% body fat. Yes, it's the lowest on the entire #Mariners team.

Ichiro, who recently turned 45, moved into the Seattle front office as a special assistant in the middle of last season but will be returning to the team’s active roster to start 2019. He hit .255 with a .649 OPS in his last full season in 2017.
The 10-time MLB All-Star has filled many roles for the M’s since returning for his second stint with them in March. Perhaps now he should consider serving as the team’s fitness coach as well.
