10 notable men's college basketball players in transfer portal

Following March Madness, we have "April Madness," with dozens of players entering the transfer portal and selecting new colleges.

Here are 10 notable men's college basketball players looking for new destinations:

Most notable frontcourt players in the portal

Center | Clifford Omoruyi, senior, Rutgers | The 6-foot-11, 240-pounder averaged 10.4 points and 8.3 rebounds last season. Per On3's Joe Tipton, North Carolina, UCLA, Baylor and Alabama are among the schools interested

Center | Great Osobor, junior, Utah State | In his first season at Utah State, the Montana State transfer broke out, averaging 17.7 points and nine rebounds as Utah State finished 28-7, one of its best records in school history. Osobor is an NBA Draft prospect, but if he elects to go back to college, his transfer market will likely heat up.

Forward | Mark Mitchell, sophomore, Duke | Mitchell is a fairly one-dimensional scorer, as he lacks a consistent jump shot, but is a talented defender around the perimeter and paint, and brings value as a slasher on offense. 247Sports predicted he'll end up at Kansas State.

Forward | Jonas Aidoo, junior, Tennessee | Aidoo started all 36 games of his junior season, averaging 11.4 points on 51.5% shooting. He has spoken with North Carolina, according to 247Sports.

Forward | Dillon Mitchell, sophomore, Texas | Mitchell started 72 games in two years at Texas, posting 9.6 points and 7.5 rebounds a game last season. If he's not picked in the NBA Draft, the former McDonald's All-American will have a number of suitors.

Forward | Danny Wolf, sophomore, Yale | Last season, the seven-footer averaged 14.1 points and had a nice touch from deep (34.5%), a respectable mark for a big man. There isn't much buzz around the All-Ivy League selection, but he could make an impact wherever he ends up.

Notable backcourt players in portal

Shooting guard | AJ Storr, sophomore, Wisconsin | Storr averaged 16.8 points last season, but he had a dramatic dip in his three-point shooting, falling from 40.4% to a sub-par 32%. 247Sports projects he'll go to Illinois.

Shooting guard | Johnell Davis, junior, Florida Atlantic | After his team's deep run in March Madness last season, he earned consistent starting minutes for the first time this season. He averaged 18.2 points and made an outstanding 41.4% of his shots from deep.

Point guard | Javon Small, junior, Oklahoma State | Small averaged 15.1 points, 4.1 assists, and 4.7 rebounds in his first season at Oklahoma State after leaving East Carolina. 247Sports reported he visited Miami on Wednesday.

Point guard | Tyrese Hunter, junior, Texas | Hunter has started all three seasons of his collegiate career, which started at Iowa State. He averages 10.8 points. There isn't much buzz around Hunter, but he only entered the portal Monday.
